There are two ways to run OwnCDN - as a website under IIS - or from the command line as a standalone program.

For production use, we recommend running OwCDN as a website under IIS (Internet Information Services). This gives you all the features of IIS, such as running multiple websites on the same IP / port, SSL management, etc., and it is more performant that routing requests through some kind of reverse proxy.

However, if you just want to quickly test out OwnCDN without a lot of configuration - or if you don't want to run IIS, you can download the command line version of OwnCDN. This is a self-contained program which requires no install or configuration. Simply download and extract the .zip file, and run owncdn.exe from a command line.

Download and run the following file to install OwnCDN version 1.0 (build 100):
